Thursday Morning Workout Notes

Favorite Big Brown and Smooth Air were the only horse to work this morning, although other horses took to the track to job or gallop including Eight Belles, Denis of Cork, Anak Nakal, Cool Coal Man, Adriano, and Colonel John (and those were just the ones I saw).

Trainer Rick Dutrow sent Big Brown out for a 3 furlong blowout, the horse covered the distance in 37 2/5. Smooth Air, who finished second behind Big Brown in the Florida Derby, also worked 3 furlongs, covering the distance in an easy: 38 1/5.
