Magna CEO: Boom

I got a call as I was driving through Anderson County, Ky toward Louisville from a friend telling me that I was right with my prediction yesterday about Michael Neuman's job as CEO being in jeopardy.

"Just don't ever write about my job security issues," my friend told me.

So Neuman's out to "pursue other opportunities" (I would have gone with "spend more time with my family"), and Frank is in as interim CEO. This should be exciting. Not only did we skip right over DEFCON 2 and go right to ICBM exchange in the Magna CEO Watch -- but we get Frank in charge.

While I was right (albeit I gave it until January 1st to happen), it didn't take a psychic to see this was coming after Frank pretty much humiliated Neuman before the California Horse Racing Board.

As a side note, I'm going to be out of town to attend a wedding this weekend, so posting will be light until Monday. Let's hope the NYRA-franchise decision doesn't come down while I'm gone.
